Sadness crawling into crevice
Crevice in the heart
Heart draining happiness as
As all emotions drowned
Stealing a sight, I condescend
Condescend in seeing myself
Myself reduced to the bare bones
Bones with little chance to succour
My lifeless exterior,
Exterior which reprise deeply
Deeply awaiting for the Dark Angel
Angel manifesting munificence
Munificence for which I am indebted
Indebted, now I indemnify
Indemnify through Perdition
Perdition, bearable with a broad smile.

Much brighter and although it was hard for me to understand, I did like it.

Interesting last word/first word format. Very clever.

I’ve written one of these poems…I forget what the form was called, mine was dark too as I recall but you do end on a happier note with that broad smile.

An interesting echo poem. The opening stanza is particularly effective.
